SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
Central Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, Lee,
Northern Cook, Northern Will and Southern Cook and northwest
Indiana, including the following areas, Lake IN and Porter.

* WHEN...From 4 AM CDT Saturday through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may
be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms late tonight through Saturday morning
may produce widespread rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour
that could lead to flash flooding, particularly over urban areas.

Additional thunderstorms Saturday evening into early Sunday
morning have the potential to produce torrential rainfall that
results in flash flooding, though the exact placement of this
rainfall remains unclear. A second Flood Watch for flash flooding
may be needed during this period.
