...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the following counties, Coles, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion. * WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 849 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville, Charleston, Mattoon, Paris, Georgetown, Westville, Tilton, Catlin, Oakwood, Chrisman, Ridge Farm, Oakland, Newman, Kansas, Ashmore, Fairmount, Sidell, Hume, Brocton and Allerton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
