For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below possible. * WHERE...Livingston, La Salle, Grundy, and Kankakee Counties. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until midnight CST tonight. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from late Thursday night through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...For the Wind Advisory, gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. For the Extreme Cold Watch, the dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
