Remain out of the water to avoid dangerous swimming conditions
and do not venture out onto piers, jetties, breakwalls, or other

* WHERE...Thorn Creek from Near Glenwood downstream to confluence
with Little Calumet River, including the Thornton gauge.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Glenwood Thornton Road threatened north of
Glenwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 12 feet just
after midnight tonight, then begin a slow fall.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
