...Strong Westerly Winds This Morning... Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph will become west early this morning, with gusts locally as high as 45 to 50 mph at times through about 9 am CST. Winds will then steadily diminish through the late morning and afternoon hours. These strong westerly winds may cause difficulty for high profile vehicles, particularly on north south oriented roads in open areas.
