* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not
protected by levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 17.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 18.1 feet Wednesday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
