...Period of Strong Winds Expected Through the Early to Mid Afternoon... Strong winds with gusts between 40 and 50 mph are expected to occur for up to a 1 to 2 hour long duration as rain tapers off late this morning into the early to mid-afternoon. These winds will mainly be out of the southwest, but may be more out of the south or southeast at some locations. Winds of this magnitude will make travel difficult for high-profile vehicles and may blow small objects around.
