...DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING... ...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 PM CST MONDAY... * WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce visibility to 1 NM. For the Gale Warning, west gales to 45 kt with occasional storm force gusts to around 50 kt and significant waves to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft expected. * WHERE...Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor IL. * WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM CST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 5 PM this afternoon to 6 PM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility will make navigation difficult. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
