Floodwaters are near some homes along Riverside Dr, Shorewood Dr, and Highway W in the Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas. Flooding is expected to continue until this weekend. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 431 PM CDT, River gauges along the Fox River Chain of Lakes indicated that water levels continue to slowly fall. - The latest forecast from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources indicates that water levels should fall to near flood stage by this weekend. - Some locations that will experience flooding include areas along the Fox River Chain of Lakes, including Nippersink Lake, Fox Lake, Pistakee Lake, Petite Lake, Lake Marie, Channel Lake, and Lake Catherine. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood &&
