...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Grundy, Kankakee, Kendall and Will. * WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Ponding of water in low lying areas is likely. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 428 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall was occurring due to thunderstorms. Rainfall estimates indicate that between 1.5 and 2.0 inches of rain has fallen across portions of the advisory area since 3 pm, with an additional 1 to 1.5 inches possible in spots. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
