...Scattered wind-whipped snow showers along an arctic cold front... Strong northwest winds will develop late this evening and overnight behind an arctic cold front, gusting up to 40 mph. In addition, scattered wind-whipped snow showers will accompany this front as it moves east across the region. The most robust snow showers will result in localized sharply-reduced visibilities as low as a half mile and quick additional snow accumulations of a coating up to one inch.
