Indiana, including the following area, Lake IN.

The heavy rain threat has ended and additional flooding is no longer
expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures.

The Flash Flood Watch will expire for portions of Illinois,
including the following areas, Central Cook, DuPage, Eastern Will,
Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, Livingston, Northern Cook,
Northern Will, Southern Cook and Southern Will and northwest
Indiana, including the following areas, Benton, Jasper, Lake IN,
Newton and Porter.

While additional rainfall will occur this morning, particularly east
of I-57, amounts will largely remain under a half inch. Therefore,
the Flash Flood Watch will expire at 10 AM CDT /11 AM EDT/ this
morning.

Small Craft Advisory

to Michigan City IN.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Thorn Creek from Near Glenwood downstream to confluence
with Little Calumet River, including the Thornton gauge.

* WHEN...From this morning to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Water begins to be diverted through Thorn
Creek Diversion Tunnel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
