...UNTREATED SURFACES MAY BECOME ICY DUE TO FREEZING MIST AND DRIZZLE EARLY THIS MORNING... Freezing drizzle and mist will continue across far northern Illinois this morning, ending from west to east between 3 and 5 AM. Untreated surfaces such as roads, overpasses, sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways will be icy where the freezing mist and drizzle is most prevalent. This includes across the Rockford metropolitan area. Pedestrians and motorists should use caution when walking or driving on untreated surfaces this morning, even after the freezing drizzle and mist ends.
