For the High Wind Warning, west winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Illinois and east central Iowa. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 4 AM CDT Friday. For the High Wind Warning, from 4 AM to 3 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
