* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with peak afternoon heat indices
near 105 degrees possible, potentially lasting into early next
week.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, east central, northeast,
and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
periods of extreme heat and high humidity.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is forecast to be little reprieve
overnight with low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
