...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TODAY... ...REPLACES FLOOD WATCH... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of North Idaho, including the following counties, Benewah, Bonner, Kootenai, Latah and Shoshone. * WHEN...Until noon PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 506 AM PST, Gauge reports indicated heavy rain. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandpoint, St. Maries, Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Ponderay, Mullan, Kootenai, Smelterville, Dover, Clark Fork, East Hope, Wardner, Fourth Of July Pass, Lookout Pass, Parkline, Hope, Silver Mountain and Kingston. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
