...REPLACES FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE...A portion of North Idaho, including the following
counties, Benewah, Bonner, Kootenai, Latah and Shoshone.

* WHEN...Until noon PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 506 AM PST, Gauge reports indicated heavy rain. This will
cause small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.6 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sandpoint, St. Maries, Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace,
Ponderay, Mullan, Kootenai, Smelterville, Dover, Clark Fork,
East Hope, Wardner, Fourth Of July Pass, Lookout Pass,
Parkline, Hope, Silver Mountain and Kingston.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected. Isolated gusts up to 75 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of North and North Central Idaho and Central,
East Central, North Central, Northeast, and Southeast Washington.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
