* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 45 mph. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as
low as 26 expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Magic Valley, Shoshone/Lava Beds, Arco/Mud Lake
Desert, Lower Snake River Plain, and Upper Snake River Plain.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until midnight MDT tonight. For the
Freeze Warning, from 1 AM to 9 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive
vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Portneuf River at Pocatello.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Significant flooding of agricultural land
will occur from the Inkom and Blackrock area. Lowland flooding
will occur along sections of the river in Pocatello from Portneuf
Gap to the Cheyenne Avenue Bridge and downstream of the concrete
channel beginning at Sacajawea Park.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM MDT Monday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM MDT Monday was 10.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is nearing a crest and will stay around
its current level for a few days and then slowly drop into
the weekend and next week but remain in flood stage for the
foreseeable future.
- Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.1 feet on 02/02/1963.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Portneuf River at Topaz.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Lowland and crop field flooding possible
from Pebble Creek to Inkom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM MDT Monday the stage was 4.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:15 AM MDT Monday was 4.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river level is expected to gradually lower
over the next couple of days but remain above flood stage
into next week.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
4.5 feet on 02/22/2017.
