* WHAT... Air Quality Advisory because of degraded air quality due to
wildfire smoke.

Air Quality Index is forecast to be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.

* WHERE... Clearwater and Idaho Counties

* WHEN... Extended until noon 8/5/2026

* IMPACTS... Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The
general public is less likely to be affected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Air pollutants can cause breathing difficult for children, the elderly, as
well as persons with respiratory problems. Those individuals who are
sensitive to increased particulate matter or smoke are encouraged to avoid
prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity during this advisory. Open burning is
prohibited by air quality rule. It is also recommended that all other
individuals limit prolonged or strenuous activity outdoors.

* WHAT...Air Quality Advisory due to smoke from wildfires.

Air Quality Index ranging from good to moderate, but is forecasted to degrade.

* WHERE...All Areas on the Nez Perce Reservation.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

* IMPACTS...Those who experience health effects from smoke include
children under 18, elders, pregnant women, people with asthma
or have difficulty breathing, diabetes, heart problems or
otherwise compromised health, and people who have high exposure
(those who work, exercise, or spend extensive time outdoors).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Under the most severe pollution level, sensitive groups should avoid
outdoor exposure and limit indoor activities, and everyone should
restrict their outdoor activities.
