...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ SUNDAY TO 9 AM MDT /8 AM PDT/ MONDAY ABOVE 5,000 FT... * WHAT...Snow expected above 5,000 ft. There is a likelihood of minor to moderate winter weather impacts. Total snow accumulations up to 5 inches. There is potential for 7 to 12 inches in very remote locations at the highest elevations. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. It is going to rain a lot before transitioning to snow. * WHERE...The high elevations of the back country and mountains, as well as Highway 93 Sula to Lost Trail Pass. * WHEN...From 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ Sunday to 9 AM MDT /8 AM PDT/ Monday. * IMPACTS...Winter traveling conditions. For MODERATE winter weather impacts, expect disruptions to normal activities. For MINOR winter weather impacts, expect a few inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution while driving. Dirt roads on public lands could become difficult or dangerous for travel after heavy rains followed by snow. Cold, wet, and windy conditions will be ideal for causing hypothermia. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevations below 5,000 ft will still see heavy rain and potentially some snow.
