* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest,
and west central Iowa, including the following counties, in
central Iowa, Boone, Dallas, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper,
Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama and Webster. In north
central Iowa, Butler, Franklin, Humboldt and Wright. In northeast
Iowa, Black Hawk and Bremer. In northwest Iowa, Pocahontas. In
west central Iowa, Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford, Greene,
Guthrie and Sac.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain last night and this morning have led to saturated
soils, with ongoing flooding in some areas. With scattered
rain/storms expected today and additional heavy rain tonight,
new areas may begin to flood and ongoing flooding may be
exacerbated.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...The South Skunk River at Colfax, or from the Jasper-Polk
County Line to the Jasper-Marion County line.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water affects the earthen levee west of
town near the sewage disposal area. Evacuations may occur on the
northwest side of Colfax. Flooding occurs in Reasnor.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.1 feet.
- Forecast...Flood stage may be reached late tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
