...Patchy Dense Fog Early This Morning...

Patchy fog has developed across portions of eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois. The fog could become locally dense with
visibilities briefly down to a quarter mile, mainly in river
valleys and other low lying locations. Visibilities will quickly
improve after 8 AM as temperatures warm up and the fog dissipates.

Motorists should exercise caution early this morning as visibilities
may change suddenly over very short distances. Slow down and keep
plenty of stopping distance in front of you.
