to flood.

- Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Sunday morning.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
likely.  Multiple rounds of thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall
will continue tonight. An additional two to three inches of rain,
with locally higher amounts are expected.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Henry IL, Jo Daviess,
Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, Stephenson and Whiteside Counties and
Iowa, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa,
Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott
and Washington Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into water covered roadways. The danger of flash
flooding increases at night when it is harder to see.

to take action should flooding develop.
