...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM CDT SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, including the following counties, Carroll, Jo Daviess and Stephenson and Iowa, including the following counties, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque and Jackson. * WHEN...From 1 AM CDT Saturday through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rounds of showers and storms are expected from late tonight through Saturday. These storms will be capable of rainfall rates between 1 to 2 inches per hour. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are likely in the hardest hit areas through Saturday evening with the potential for localized areas of 3+ inches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
