...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southern, central, and east-central Iowa.

* WHEN...Through noon Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall are possible tonight
through noon Wednesday, with 1-3" of rainfall common, and
locally higher amounts of 3-5" possible.
