...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Snow and reduced visibilities from blowing snow in any snow showers. Total snow accumulations under one inch. West to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, gusting 40 to 50 mph. Gusts up to 55 mph are possible across portions of eastern Iowa. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois and east central and northeast Iowa. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CST this morning. * IMPACTS...Roadways may become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, including holiday decorations. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury. &&
