* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Overbank flooding occurs. Water affects
residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water
affects businesses along the river near Calamus.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...New data indicates a high probability the river
will go into flood.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 12.2 feet
Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
Bureau, Carroll, Henry IL, Putnam, Rock Island and Whiteside and
east central Iowa, including the following areas, Benton, Cedar,
Clinton, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Muscatine and Scott.

* WHEN...From this evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A large system of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall moving across
the area this morning and midday, followed by more rounds of
storms tonight into Friday morning may produce several inches of
rainfall and eventual flooding problems.
