...Strong Southerly Winds this Afternoon and Early Evening... Strong south-southwesterly winds will continue this afternoon through the early evening hours, with occasional gusts as high as 45 mph. There are also some developing showers and a few isolated thunderstorms this afternoon that could help generate stronger wind gusts up to 50 mph. If traveling on east-to-west oriented roads, be prepared for gusty crosswinds, especially in high profile vehicles. Secure all loose objects. Winds will begin to diminish by mid-evening.

Water affects the lowest sections of campgrounds just north of I-80 along the river and the lowest sections of Jack Shuger Memorial Park in Moscow.
