...SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS OF MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND... Overlapping north and northeast swells, with a dominant component of 5 to 6 feet from 010 to 030 degrees at 11 to 12 seconds, may produce moderate surges in north facing harbors, primarily at Kahului and Hilo, through tonight. Mariners using these harbors should exercise caution when mooring or launching vessels.
