* WHAT...Possible flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...Kauai, Niihau and Oahu.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A trough stalled over the western Hawaiian Islands today will
continue to draw up more moisture rich southern latitude
moisture across the islands of Kauai, Niihau and Oahu.
Antecedent rain of between over 1 to 4 inches Sunday has
saturated the ground and caused more swollen streams. Thus,
it will not take as much rain to exacerbate minor flooding
concerns today. Showers may become locally heavy at times
with the slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm.
