Flood Watch
Issued: 11:43 PM Apr. 11, 2026 – National Weather Service
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...The state of Hawaii.

* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to excessive rainfall
and overflow of streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may
be closed, along with property damage in urban or low lying spots
due to runoff. Landslides may also occur in areas with steep
terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Low pressure northwest of the islands will draw deep tropical
moisture northward bringing a high likelihood of heavy
rainfall capable of causing flash flooding, especially given
saturated antecedent conditions due to recent rainfall. The
heaviest rain is expected over Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
