...SURGES POSSIBLE IN NORTH FACING HARBORS ON MAUI AND BIG ISLAND... Overlapping north swells, with a dominant component of 5 to 7 feet from 345 to 010 degrees at 11 to 15 seconds, may produce moderate surges in north facing harbors, primarily at Kahului and Hilo, into Sunday. Mariners using these harbors should exercise caution when mooring or launching vessels.
