Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM... * At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong thunderstorms were located along a line from over Burton to over Hutchinson Island, moving east at 20 mph. Locations impacted include... Hilton Head Island, Tybee Island, Fort Pulaski National Monument, Folly Field, Forest Beach, Fripp Island and Lands End. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. &&
