At 703 PM EDT/603 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles north of Cuthbert
to 9 miles north of Columbia to 7 miles south of Taylor. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Abbeville, Colquitt, Cottonwood, Fort Gaines, Morgan, Blakely,
Dawson, Cuthbert, Headland, Dothan, Taylor, Kinsey, Ashford, Cowarts,
Edison, Arlington, Webb, Shellman, Columbia, and Leary.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the
Florida Panhandle.

* WHEN...Through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected from today
through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
expected with locally higher amounts likely. Reasonable high-
end totals of 7 to 10 inches are possible. High rainfall
rates will increase the chance of dangerous to life
threatening flash flooding.
