PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&

...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 17. * WHERE...In Florida, Trout River County. In Georgia, Coastal Camden and Coastal Glynn Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 degrees could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside.
