...A line of strong thunderstorms will affect Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound... Perdido Bay Area... Until 800 PM CDT.... At 652 PM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Escambia Bay Bridge to Pensacola Bay to 6 nm south of Pensacola Beach...moving southwest at 25 knots. Locations impacted include... Arnica Bay, Lillian Bridge, Big Lagoon, Pensacola Beach, Pensacola Pass, Fort Pickens, Pensacola Bay Bridge, Perdido Pass, Pensacola Bay, and Orange Beach. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed.
