THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
...FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
...FROST ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

* WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as
low as 7 above possible. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 20 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern Florida and southeast
Georgia.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 above zero

Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is

temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes. Appropriate action
should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have
adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children,
the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the
cold. Take measures to protect them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
