...HEAT INDEX READINGS GETTING TO 110 EAST COAST METRO AREAS... Temperatures late this afternoon will be in the mid to upper 90s over the metro areas of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties. The relative humidity will be in the 40s to around 50. This will allow for the heat index readings to get up to near 110 degrees for the next hour or two. People need to drink plenty of water and take breaks inside from the heat.
