* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 231 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 24 nm south of
Okaloosa Deep Water Reef to 41 nm southwest of Empire Mica Wreck,
moving northeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and
heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

* Locations impacted include...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

* WHAT...East winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt.

* WHERE...Offshore Gulf waters from the Walton-Okaloosa County
line to the Ochlockonee River from 20 to 60 nautical miles
out, Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to Okaloosa Walton
County Line FL out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to
Apalachicola FL out 20 NM, and Coastal Waters From Ochlockonee
River to Apalachicola Fl out to 20 Nm.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/ Monday.

* IMPACTS...A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20
to 33 knots, or seas of 7 feet or greater, are expected to
produce hazardous conditions for small craft. These hazardous
conditions may result in poor vessel handling and steering
response, broaching, overturned dinghies and kayaks, slips and
falls on slippery decks, rub damage along docks and seawalls,
and dragging anchors.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Bay and adn south-facing Gulf County Beaches.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
