...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
counties, Lake, Orange and Osceola.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 540 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Windermere, Bay Lake,
Celebration, Oak Ridge, Four Corners, Horizon West, Bay Hill,
Doctor Phillips, Sea World, Universal Studios, Hunters Creek,
Yeehaw Junction, Lake Buena Vista, Magic Kingdom, Epcot,
Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...St Johns River near Astor.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water approaches or may enter lowest homes
on or near Wildhog Road and nearby canals. Flooding reaches the
parking lot of the Juno Trail Apartments. Flooding on portions of
Alligator Road and Holiday Road. Lowest lying yards along Blue
Creek are flooded. Roads at Astor Landing Campground and Lake
Dexter Boat Ramp begin to flood. Water enters lower homes closest
to the river on McPherson Lane.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Monday the stage was 2.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM EDT Monday was 2.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to slowly rise through Minor
Flood Stage, reaching Moderate Flood Stage early this week.
- Flood stage is 2.3 feet.
