Southeastern Santa Rosa County in northwestern Florida... * WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 829 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Destin and Okalossa Island. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional heavy rainfall will be possible through the morning hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts of up to 5 inches possible.
