* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Florida, including
the following counties, in central Florida, Sumter. In west
central Florida, Citrus and Hernando.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1045 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Inverness, Homosassa Springs, Beverly Hills, Black Diamond,
Crystal River Airport, Inverness Highlands North, Homosassa,
Inverness Highlands South, Inverness Airport, North Weeki
Wachee, Pine Island, Hernando, Sugarmill Woods, Lecanto,
Crystal Oaks, Leisure Acres, Green Acres, Brent Wood, Citrus
Hills and Pine Ridge.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
