* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Florida, including the following
county, Lee.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lochmoor Waterway Estates, Palmona
Park, McGregor, Matlacha Isles-Matlacha Shores, East Dunbar,
Pine Manor, Matlacha, Burnt Store Marina, Suncoast Estates,
Whiskey Creek, Page Field Airport, North Fort Myers, Page
Park and Tice.

Coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Englewood FL out 20 NM...
Waters from Bonita Beach to Englewood FL out 20 to 60 NM...

At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Sanibel to 12 nm southwest
of Captiva to 22 nm west of Gasparilla Island, moving east at 10
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
