At 1007 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles east of De Funiak Springs to near Santa Rosa
Beach, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Panama City Beach, Vernon, Santa Rosa Beach, Bonifay, De Funiak
Springs, Eglin Air Force Base, Live Oak, Freeport, Ponce De Leon,
Caryville, Westville, Ebro, Whitehead Crossroads, Gulf Resort Beach,
Gritney, West Panama City, Blue Mountain Beach, Seaside, Bahama
Beach, and Rock Hill.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the
Florida Panhandle.

* WHEN...Through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected from today
through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
expected with locally higher amounts likely. Reasonable high-
end totals of 7 to 10 inches are possible. High rainfall
rates will increase the chance of dangerous to life
threatening flash flooding.
