TO 1 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WINDS...South to southwest winds increasing to 20 to 25 knots
with gusts to gale force shifting to the northwest Friday
night.

* WAVES/SEAS...3 to 4 feet with rough inland waterways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

* COASTAL FLOODING...Some minor coastal flooding will be possible
at times of high tide today with tides running 1 to 2 feet above
normal.

* COASTAL FLOOD TIMING...Today through this evening.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Tides will run some 1 to 2 feet above
normal especially at times of high tide Friday afternoon.
These above normal water levels may cause some minor coastal
flooding along with some overwash on coastal roadways.

* HIGH SURF...Breaking waves up to 5 to 6 feet are expected
along area beaches.

* HIGH SURF TIMING...Mid morning today through late Saturday
night.

* HIGH SURF IMPACTS...Large breaking waves will produce very
dangerous conditions along area beaches. Venturing into the
surf is not recommended.

* RIP CURRENT TIMING...Increasing wave action will create
dangerous rip currents along area beaches today through Sunday
morning.

* RIP CURRENT IMPACTS...Life threatening Rip Currents are likely
today. Always swim near a lifeguard, and never swim alone!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing localized beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore...which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins...
jetties and piers. For maximum safety...swim near a lifeguard.
Pay attention to flags and signs.

If you become caught in a rip current...yell for help. Remain
calm...do not exhaust yourself and stay afloat while waiting for
help. If you have to swim out of a rip current...swim parallel to
shore and back toward the beach when possible. Do not attempt to
swim directly against a rip current as you will tire quickly.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...
...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Area - Ruskin FL has
issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM this
morning to 7 PM EDT this evening. The Lake Wind Advisory has been
cancelled.

* TIMING...Mid morning on Friday through Friday evening.

* WINDS...South to southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with higher
gusts.

* IMPACTS...The strong and gusty winds may caused weak trees or
limbs to fall which may block roadways. Downing of power lines
will also be possible. The strong winds will also blow around
unsecured objects.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
