* WHERE...Portions of Big Bend and Panhandle Florida.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this
evening. For the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon EDT /11 AM CDT/ to
8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
