* Until 730 PM EST.

* At 430 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located 8 nm south of C Tower, moving northeast at
20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. Several coastal sites are gusting to
nearly 34 knots on the northern side of the rain.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and
heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Buckeye Reef, O Tower, K Tower, S Tower, V Tower, C Tower, St
George Island, Marker 24 Barge, and Apalachicola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Walton, Bay, Gulf, and Franklin County Beaches.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
