...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...In Delaware, Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches. In New Jersey, Cape May and Atlantic Coastal Cape May. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some road closures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood. Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs. Visit the National Water Prediction Service at https://water.noaa.gov/wfo/phi for additional water level and flood impact information for your local tide gauge. && Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour. ...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT SUNDAY... ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 6 PM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce visibility to 1 nm or less. For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and rough waters expected. * WHERE...Delaware Bay waters south of East Point NJ to Slaughter Beach DE. * WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 1 AM EDT Sunday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 AM to 6 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low visibility will make navigation difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a small chance for gale conditions, particularly at the mouth of the Delaware Bay late Sunday Morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions. If you must navigate, proceed with caution.
