...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 1 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Some mixed precipitation to snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. * WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, northeast Maryland, and southern New Jersey. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The precipitation should start as a mix of light snow and rain with possibly some sleet before quickly changing to snow. Snowfall rates to an inch per hour should develop at times this afternoon. Temperatures are expected to fall to well below freezing tonight and remain there for several days. As a result, icy and slippery conditions may persist even after precipitation has ended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling.
