* WHERE...Long Island Sound west of Port Jefferson and New
Haven, New York Harbor, and Peconic and Gardiners Bays.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.

EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 10
and 16 inches. Sleet may mix in with the snow Sunday late
afternoon and evening near the Connecticut coast, southern
Westchester, and northeast New Jersey.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey,
and southeast New York.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Sunday to 6 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will become snow covered and hazardous.
Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing
snow.
