...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS FRIDAY FOR CONNECTICUT.. The combination of recent dry weather, very dry fuels and relative humidity between 30 and 40 percent makes conditions favorable for wildfire spread on Friday. Fires that start have the potential to spread quickly and will be difficult to contain. Use caution when handling and disposing of ignition sources.
